You need no download and no account to play: an account is needed only to create a private room and to play at the credit tables.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play okey, tavla and chess against the computer?
Yes. Open a game, choose Vs Computer and start: there is no waiting. When you open a game from this page, you choose Easy, Medium or the hardest level; on each game's own page there are 3 levels for okey, 4 for tavla and 8 for chess. Games against the computer do not count towards your online rating.
Can I play without an account?
Yes. As a guest you can play the solo games and the games against the computer, sit at the free online tables and join a private room with its code. You need an account only to create a private room and to play at the credit tables. If you create an account later, the scores and ratings you earned as a guest in this browser move to it.
How do the online tables work?
Open a game, choose the button beside Vs Computer for online play, then pick a table type; the Free table needs no account. Online tables are timed: each move has a time limit (25 seconds in okey, 30 in tavla and 20 in Texas Hold'em) plus a time bank you can draw on during the match, and chess at these tables is played at 5 minutes per player plus 3 seconds a move. Online games count towards your rating. Each game's own page has the details.
How do I play with friends at the same table?
Sign in, open the game and choose online play (the button beside Vs Computer). Under Private room, press Create Room and share the code shown at the table; your friends type in the code and press Join, and they need no account. The game starts when the table is full: 4 players for okey, 2 for tavla and chess. Private rooms are free.
What are credits, and can I buy them?
Players with an account use credits at the credit tables (Rookie, Amateur, Master and Elite), which you find among the table types for online play. They come from the welcome bonus, the daily bonus and the support bonus. Credits have no money value: they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money. The credit tables are 18+, and Master and Elite need an account that is at least 3 days old.
Do I need to download anything, and can I play on my phone?
No, there is nothing to download. oyna.app opens in your browser, so you can play on a computer, a phone or a tablet without installing an app.
