How to play

Each number tells you how many mines touch that square. Use the numbers to deduce which squares are safe and which hide a mine.

  • Left-click (tap) a square to reveal it. The first click is always safe.
  • Right-click (long-press) to flag a square you believe is a mine.
  • Revealing a blank square opens every unflagged square around it, and the opening spreads across connected blanks.

Clear every safe square to win. Hit a mine and the run is over.

Time

The clock starts on your first reveal and stops when the board is clear or a mine goes off.

Tips

  • Start in the middle to open up a large area.
  • Look for a number touching exactly as many unrevealed squares as its value — they’re all mines.
  • Flag what you’re sure of, then re-read the numbers around it.
