How to play
Use the arrow keys (or swipe on touch) to slide all tiles in one direction. When two tiles with the same number meet in the direction you slide, they merge into one with double the value; a tile merges only once per move. Every move spawns a new tile.
The goal is to create a 2048 tile — but you can keep playing for a higher score. The game ends when the board is full and no moves remain.
Scoring
Your score increases by the value of each merged tile. When a game ends, your score is submitted to the leaderboard automatically. For a fresh tile sequence, press New game in the game window’s bar.
Tips
- Keep your highest tile pinned in a corner and build a descending “staircase” toward it.
- Pick a primary direction and avoid moves that scatter your big tiles.
- Work the rows methodically instead of chasing every merge.
