Arcade games

2048 and Worm are arcade classics you play on your own. They open in your browser with no download and no sign-up; you play with the arrow keys on a computer or by swiping on a phone.

Which arcade game suits you?

Choose 2048 if you would rather think than hurry: on a 4×4 board you merge equal numbers to reach the 2048 tile, and after each move a 2, or now and then a 4, appears in an empty square. There is no clock; the game ends when no empty square and no merge are left. Once you reach 2048, press Keep going to play on for larger tiles. Keeping the big tile in a corner is the first of the 2048 tips.

Choose Worm for a game of reflexes: on a 20×20 board each piece of food is worth 10 points, and the worm gets longer with every bite and speeds up as it eats. The run ends when it hits a wall or its own body.

In both games your score goes to the leaderboards when the game ends, with separate daily, weekly and all-time boards.
