How to play
Every one of the 52 cards is dealt face-up into eight columns. Move them all to the four foundations, each built up in suit from Ace to King.
- Build the columns down in alternating colours (a red 6 on a black 7).
- The four free cells each hold one card — parking spots to untangle the tableau.
- Drag a card onto a column, a free cell or its foundation; a valid run (descending, alternating colours) moves only onto a column. Double-click to send a card straight to its foundation.
- You can move a run of several cards at once when you have enough free cells and empty columns — an empty column doubles your reach.
Clear all 52 cards to win. Aces and safe low cards fly home automatically.
Deals & scoring
Deals use the classic FreeCell numbering (game #1 is always the same board), so you can replay or share any deal — just type a number. FreeCell is ranked by completion time.
Stuck? Hint flashes the card it suggests moving, and Auto-solve searches for a solution from where you are and plays it out if it finds one.
Tips
- Keep free cells empty as long as you can — each one you use cuts how many cards you can move at once.
- Empty a whole column early: it’s the most powerful resource on the board.
- Dig out the Aces and low cards you need before burying them.
